1. What We Sell
Hikers Bikes LLC sells electric bikes (eBikes) and electric trikes (eTrikes) exclusively. We carry brands including Amflow, Bulls, Gazelle, Lectric, Orbea, Rad Power Bikes, Riese & Müller, Tern, Urban Arrow, and Velotric. We do not sell accessories, helmets, parts, or other merchandise. This policy covers all eBike and eTrike purchases made on hikersbikesllc.com.
2. How to Start a Return
To initiate a return, contact us at support@hikersbikesllc.com before sending anything back. Returns sent without prior authorization will not be accepted and no refund will be issued. Our team will verify your order, provide a return merchandise authorization (RMA), and give you the return shipping label.
Please include in your return request:
- Your order number
- The bike model you are returning
- The reason for your return
- Photos of the bike and packaging if the item is damaged or incorrect
3. Order Cancellations
Orders may be cancelled within 12 hours of placement, provided the order has not yet shipped. To cancel, email support@hikersbikesllc.com immediately with your order number.
Once an order has shipped, it cannot be cancelled. If you no longer want the bike after it has shipped, please allow delivery and then initiate a return per the process in Section 2. Preorders may not be cancelled once the ship window has opened.
4. Return Eligibility eBikes and eTrikes
All return requests must be made within 30 days of the delivery date. There are two return scenarios depending on whether the bike has been ridden:
4a. New, unridden bike
The bike must be in new condition with fewer than 1 mile on the odometer, in its original packaging with all included items.
- Return window: 30 days from delivery
- Restocking fee: none
- Return shipping fee: $149, deducted from your refund
4b. Ridden bike
The bike must have fewer than 20 miles on the odometer and be in safely rideable condition.
- Return window: 30 days from delivery
- Restocking fee: 30% of the original purchase price, deducted from refund
- Return shipping fee: $149, deducted from your refund
Example: You paid $1,500 for a bike and return it with 10 miles on the odometer. Your refund = $1,500 minus $149 (return shipping) minus $450 (30% restocking) = $901.
4c. Bikes not eligible for return
The following bikes cannot be returned:
- Bikes with 20 or more miles on the odometer
- Bikes that have been damaged due to misuse, collision, or modification
- Bikes missing original packaging, parts, or documentation
5. Return Shipping
A return shipping fee of $149 per bike or eTrike applies to all returns. This fee is deducted from your refund — you will not be asked to pay anything upfront. We will provide the return shipping label once your return is authorized.

6. Refunds
Refunds are processed after we receive and inspect your returned bike. Once approved, refunds are issued to the original payment method. Please allow 5–10 business days for the refund to appear, depending on your bank or card issuer.
Important:
- The $149 return shipping fee is deducted from your refund before it is issued
- Any applicable 30% restocking fee (ridden returns) is also deducted from your refund
- If a discount code was used on your order, the full value of that discount code will be subtracted from your refund
- Refunds cannot be issued to a different payment method than was used at checkout
7. Refused or Undeliverable Shipments
If you refuse delivery or if an order is returned to us as undeliverable (wrong address, unclaimed, etc.), the $149 return shipping fee will be deducted from your refund. We are not responsible for orders that cannot be delivered due to an incorrect address entered at checkout.
8. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
If your bike arrives damaged, defective, or if you received the wrong model, contact us within 48 hours of delivery at support@hikersbikesllc.com with:
- Your order number
- Photos of the bike, packaging, and packing slip
- Description of the issue
For confirmed damaged, defective, or incorrectly shipped bikes, we will arrange a replacement or issue a full refund at no cost — including no return shipping fee.
9. Manufacturer Warranty
All bikes sold by Hikers Bikes LLC are covered by the original manufacturer’s warranty only, where applicable. Hikers Bikes LLC does not provide any additional warranty beyond what the manufacturer offers. Warranty coverage, duration, and claim procedures vary by brand. Contact us and we will help facilitate your warranty claim with the manufacturer.
10. Governing Terms
This Refund and Returns Policy is part of and governed by the Hikers Bikes LLC Terms of Service at https://hikersbikesllc.com/terms-of-service/. Hikers Bikes LLC reserves the right to update this policy at any time. The current version is always available at https://hikersbikesllc.com/refund_returns/.
